There is something for everyone on Sal: The kite beach with side-onshore wind and small waves for beginners as well as powerful waves for advanced kitesurfers. Due to the depth of the water and the waves, Sal is not the perfect spot for beginners, but those who have learned here can kite everywhere. For the cracks there are world class wave spots, first of all the infamous Ponta Preta. When you’re tired after your session you can enjoy some of the world’s best strapless action performed by local heroes Mitu Monteiro, Matchup's Lopes, Airton Cozzolino and friends.
